Maxi's crew however, lost their lives in the process. But Maxi and his crew was attacked, with help from Kilik they fought off the attack. Maxi agreed to take him to where he needed to go. Needing a boat to take him to his destination he met with Maxi, a pirate. Edge Master helped train Kilik to control the corruption inside himself and the Kali-Yuga before embarking on a journey to destroy the cursed sword. Edge Master told Kilik what had happened and the cause of it all was the cursed sword. He was greeted by an old man named Edge Master, a master at the Ling Sheng Su temple. He didn't wish to fight her but was forced to, killing her in the process. He attempted to leave the temple but was blocked by a corrupted Xianglian. Kilik awakened to his temple brothers & sisters dead not knowing why. Realizing this she put the mirror over Kilik's neck to save sacrificing herself to be corrupted by the Evil Seed. Xianglian was the only one to avoid being corrupted due to her holding the sacred mirror, Dvapara-Yuga. Members of the temple fought and killed each other Kilik killed a few himself. But the Kali-Yuga also became corrupted from the Evil Seed forcing Kilik himself to be driven into madness. Members of the temple were becoming corrupted by the Evil Seed forcing the temple leaders to hand the treasures to Kilik and Xianglian. His temple sister, Xianglian, was also chosen to inherit a treasure, the Dvapara-Yuga.ĭuring the ceremony to pass the treasures on to the chosen two, the Evil Seed manifested itself at the temple causing a great tragedy to arise. After years of hard training he was chosen by the temple to inherit one of it's greatest treasure, the Kali-Yuga. Kilik lived and was raieed at the Ling-Sheng Su temple. He will be a playable boss-like character, this time with the ability to wield any of the other male character's weapons, much like Inferno in previous entries. He was confirmed to return as a playable character in Soulcalibur 5 during the live event at IGN on Monday January 23, 2012.
